In-Home Caregiver - KPK Home Care

In this rewarding role, you will provide essential support to our clients, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility.

  • Create a warm and supportive environment through companionship and engaging conversation.

  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.

  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe living space.

  • Run errands, assist with grocery shopping, and provide transportation to appointments (if valid driver's license is held).

  • Offer medication reminders and report any changes in client health or condition.

  • Maintain clear and concise communication with clients, families, and the KPK Home Care team.

DUTIES OF CAREGIVING

(may require, but not limited to)

Personal Care Assistance:

Helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, grooming, using the restroom, and moving around.

 

Meal Preparation and Errands:

Planning, preparing, and serving meals and snacks, along with grocery shopping and running errands. Transporting may be necessary.

 

Light Housekeeping:

Keeping the client's home clean and organized with tasks like laundry, dishes, and light dusting.

 

Medication Management:

Reminding clients to take medications, and in some cases, administering them following doctor's orders.

 

Companionship and Emotional Support:

Providing social interaction, engaging in conversation, and offering emotional support to combat loneliness and isolation.

 

Safety and Monitoring:

Keeping an eye on the client's well-being, reporting any changes in health or behavior, and being prepared to respond to emergencies.​

  • Experience is a plus, but not required! We will train you.
